Theo de Raadt to be presenting at CanSecWest.

Contributed by grey on from the the Best Coast's best compsec conference. dept.

Dragos Ruiu recently announced that Theo de Raadt will be presenting at this year's CanSecWest, March 22-24 2023 in Vancouver, BC.
It's been a while since Theo de Raadt presented striking new memory protections at CanSecWest, but he is back with new stuff OpenBSD has been cooking up to make exploits tougher. He'll be presenting:

"Synthetic Memory Protections, beyond R, W, and X"

Execute only memory anyone? Immutable mappings? Syscall permissions on mappings? Some powerful and interesting new ideas.

I promised Theo an audience technical enough to get it.
