Contributed by jason on from the puffy-and-a-spot-of-tea dept.

This year's European BSD Conference is scheduled for September 18-20 2009 at Robinson College in Cambridge, UK. Among the scheduled speakers are a couple of OpenBSD developers. Peter N. M. Hansteen will give his PF tutorial on the first day.

Henning Brauer (henning@) will be presenting Performance Tuning in the OpenBSD Network Stack and PF. Otto Moerbeek (otto@) will give a talk entitled A new malloc(3) for OpenBSD.

More details are available at the EuroBSDCon 2009 website.

It would be nice to have these talks in video but with GOOD SOUND QUALITY for those who simply can't go to UK.

You have a perfectly valid complaint. However, you should address it with the organizers of the conference rather than complaining on Undeadly. I'm proud of the audio quality we had for DCBSDCon 2009. This was easy to accomplish using a dedicated recording device at the podium (thanks Will Backman!).
