Bob Beck and Reyk Floeter will be speaking at the Calgary Unix User Group meeting which will be at the SAIT Campus in Calgary on Thursday, June 1st at 6 pm. They will be discussing various OpenBSD issues, such as increasing support for various wireless devices without using vendor-supplied binary Hardware Abstraction Layers, and why OpenBSD's fanatical resistance to blobs is the only sane approach. Other OpenBSD developers will be in attendance in order to provide some international colour. T-shirts, CDs, and posters will be available for purchase as well. If you're near Calgary, you don't want to miss this event!
