OpenBSD at LinuxTag in Wiesbaden, May 3. - 6.

Contributed by mbalmer on from the Kaesefondue dept.

Linuxtag, World's No. 1 Linux Expo and Conference since 1996, (as they say on their website) takes place in Wiesbaden/DE on May 3.- 6. There will be quite some OpenBSD presence: Marc Balmer and Claudio Jeker will be giving talks about OpenBSD related topics and Wim Vandeputte will run an OpenBSD booth with the usual suspects/slaves. Claudio will talk about routing using OpenOSPFD and Marc will share his experiences of making OpenBSD a strategic platform for the Basel public schools. Marc will also give a technical talk about support for time signal stations that was recently added to OpenBSD.

In addition, Claudio and Marc will moderate a panel discussion on "Blobs: The cancer of free software".

That's the first time I am hearing about using OpenBSD together with DCF77 as a time signal station. Unfortunately I could not find more information than the descripton of Mr Balmer's talk. Anyone got more info?

    Thanks!
