Well has the build process changed ? I updated my src last night and built kernel and my little scripts that are standard then I ran make build and it blew up ( first time in 5 years that happened ). I will build again after doing a cvs update. Perhaps I will wait till beta is over ;) Ok, I know I need to log the build and report but hey it was 3 am and I saw my pillow calling me. You need to build using a snapshot. Can't do it from 3.6.

Even from a 3.6-current snapshot (first built about a month ago, then tracking -current via CVS), I had some problems with the build process.

One lesson I have learned -- always do a 'make clean' before updating cvs. Yeah I know, shoulda RTFM.
I ended up running 'make -i clean', and also wiping out the complete g++ source tree and pulling a fresh copy from CVS. Nothing less was successful.

          we mean latest snapshots
          not a month ago snapshots

but cleaning is almost necesssary too

probably you must start from snapshot regarding to gcc3 update thing
if your current gcc do not support thread mode : single
