OpenBSD - Going further to stop hackers

It looks like a good lead in for the quickly approaching HITBSecConf2004 taking place in Kuala Lumpur October 4th through 7th. Theo de Raadt will be a keynote speaker there in addition to a number of other great speakers including one of the authors of Secure Architectures With OpenBSD, Jose Nazario.

      EvoX Grant Lam / Emma / EvoX and more! Anyone in the business of chat networks, websites and hosting will probably of heard of EvoX. The most known online ripper of all time. EvoX, is more widely known as a female, however he is actually a he, apparently he does this because people are more likely to give software and code to a female then a male. Not only a ripper, but a liar and cheater, and most people can probably say that they have lost money, software or items to EvoX before. I dont think I know one person that has gained anything from him before, even in deals. Usually EvoX will make it a big deal in that he will send lots of things in exchange for certain items. He gets you to send first, or sends you something to get your trust that really you dont want. Then as soon as he has it, its on the block for you. Hes even claimed to own such things as ircxpro, paperchat, ignition server, mirc, techgear007, and various other things to get what he wants. Most can tell straight away, or fall in to his trap. But each and every time, he is able to manipulate and then rip the people off in the end. He cant help it. Many sites, including E9N, techgear007, mxnchat, nsm, msn,gcc, and more have been ripped and then used by EvoX for his websites. Even though they were poorly reconstructed, they are still ripping and misleading. He uses other peoples hardwork and takes it as his own, and then announces it as his own. A well known msn chat emmulator is PaperIRC, after downloading this off the paper chat website, EvoX setup a http://www.flowstream.org/index.php and announced that it was his own server and software, and tried to sell it for three hundred US Dollars. His plan was found out and foiled by members of the real paperchat forum. He now has various websites like http://www.flowstream.org/index.php ... There are many stories about EvoX and his other names. His real name no one knows. He will even say hes dying to gain what he wants. The list just goes on. We Strongly Advises to stay away from EvoX and http://www.flowstream.org/index.php if ya dont what to be ripped or hacked

        I seriously doubt you know EvoX like I do and he has not lied or cheated to me. You don't know much about EvoX if you are saying things like that.         This person EvoX did not steal this software
        He wrote an server on sockets on an based system called mIRC
        He never edited or misused this program
        And dos not include it with any download
        So that people are needed to buy there own mIRC License

        After reading this message i have bin doing some research.
        On this way i have found out that you are owner of an Network called WinZero.
        Located at http://www.winzero.org
        WinZero is bin declared as an network that uses other people resources creations and labels without asking permitions.
        Also the versions of the Paper IRC Server that are released by EvoX are on this network located with the credits removed and your name and credits in there place.
        I think that will be declared that you only try to make people believe that the programs created by other persons with blood and tears are free of use buy you on any way...
        That is called stealing and breaking the general copyright law.
        On this way by posting this message you have declared that you are now trying to get the rights for the programs created by EvoX.

            I find it amusing you all bicker over who "owns" paperchat. And then falsely claim the creator is Paper. Why dont you ask Paper himself where he got the idea and the original "PaperChat" server. I will tell you! Paperchat is the NSM V.1.0 Server. The very first BETA version of what became the biggest msnlike network. So if you want to talk about "doing your research" maybe you should take your own advice.

                lmao paper this paper that as far as i can see WinZero.org has done nothing worng because as far as i can see Randola aka Randy trams is the one doing the work with paperIRC SOdamnGOOD sdg what ever is the one hosting it on winzero.org i dont think sdg has anything to do with paper winzero is the site that every uses anyway paper is just one more download in the big list they have all i can see is that WinZero.org have recode 6.0 and made their own versons from it if anything they are keeping paperIRC alive with out winzero.org i dont think their would be a paperirc here now as their are so little sites that support it and have it on download keep the work up WinZero.org you guys are doing gr8 forgot all the haters

                  Paper Chat is an open source mIRC Client. Also EvoX and Da Doctor are simply making generalizations that SodamnGood rips code off from the original creators. I know him and he has all the knowledge of protocal and working with mIRC clients his site has been created to base all of this. Also, he releases anything that he didn't make with proper credits to the original authors. I think these two are trying to cover up something in their software perhaps saying they did not create it perfect and because of that they have to blame another good programmer with false generelazations. They need to do more research rather then making a statement like that.

                    Supporter is right Sean Opened Winzero for the new version of paper that randy created so if theres any copy right issuses going on randy is whom to blamed for Not Winzero. Winzero is Just Hosting the files for randy every one else is right u guys need to do more research befor blaming any one for this act and plus paper is freeware any wayz.

              I find it ultimately amusing that any idiot could have done what Mohamed had done with the NSM server. He just used alot of people to get where he was going. If people had signed contracts with Mohamed instead of getting hardons for having a m$n butterfly he doles out temporarily until he gets what he wants, he wouldnt be able to claim all the credit he has garnered.

              Take Zeus for example... he made a chat server but he couldnt quite get the people. It looked real nice too. Mohamed would have been just some kid with a server that didnt amount to anything, and he would have eventually shut it off if some people hadnt gotten a fire up his butt.

      I've known EvoX for years now and he isn't a script kiddie, ripper, or what ever you people would like him to be. Another thing is I heard some things about scribby being a ripper. I'm not going to say it's true. It's things I've heard. Scribby is a good guy, but some people has told me some things. Sodamngood you've been known to rip from other people's websites too. I'm not going to say it is true, because I have no facts to back it up. It's just what people has told me. You know about PaperIRC too don't you? Yeah didn't you try to do something like EvoX did?             yeah i just wanna agree with all the comments said about the fact that NOTHING has been stolen by WinZero. as the previous person said, they have helped a LOT of people for no cash, no I OWE U or jack shit. it is by far a kick ass site with cool people and anyone sayin they stole paperIRC or any shit like that is wrong. if your sick of hearing about this bs, check out their website. it shuold be up very soon and is gonna kick ass. sean has done an awesome job on it and everyone needs to help support it as they do other people! enjoy the site

              SDG, you know how you said EvoX ripped that template off scribby. It's kinda funny, because when you had WinZero running you had the same template. Now isn't that weird? Then I do reamber you haveing the same content as this other lame site ran by a 9 year old. That is weird too. I do think that was ripped from you though. But really I guess if you think EvoX is a ripper, and script kiddie it's your opinion and no one can really change it. I can also reamber putting this one script on my website that scribby made, and I reamber EvoX telling me that it's ripped. I asked him about it. He said that when he was good friends with Scribby that he use to back up his server. He told me that he had many ripped php scripts. But he could of been lieing. This stuff about PaperIRC.                     SOdamnGOOD has done so much for paperIRC he took something that was dieing and saved it from someone who wanted to make everyone pay for it everyone should say thanks to SOdamnGOOD and WinZero.org and Paper with out any of them you would not have paper or paperIRC still going for free

                      Mohamed From NSM Now known as Buzzen they created the AUTH for the server, Mohamed gave it to his friend who promised he would not give it out. It turns out that he gave it to Paper and then paper used it however Paper coded the rest of the server itself, it was then found by EvoX Who edited it not much by what i see, and then released it in English and called it his own.
                      This has since gone through a lot of people!
                      Crimson Which was made by Paper has been edited a lot and rereleased.
                      This was since founded by an owner of another Network who i will not name, He then recoded the server and added Sub Auth, This has since been taken by Wolfs Den and some of them if not all have their own chat network claiming that it is their server.

                      WinZero Provides a valued and well run service for its members the fact that Paper IRC Support and Paper IRC Coding is part of the site is good for the internet as a whole it promotes indviduals to create there own chat servers with ease and bring new talent forward, 1. WinZero did not rip this it was requested by its membrs i believe 2. ive herd about EvoX and herd of his poor credibility 3. LopezWebz do rip they have admited it 4. the Paper IRC WinZero Created is toatally orginal, infact the should call it WinZero IRC hehe. 5. Im bored.

                        Officially Randy trams suspension is for a minimum of 3 Months - it’s actually stated as an indefinite suspension - and the incident that caused it is so bad that it’s unsure whether or not he’ll be brought back to the winzero at all.

                        The main incident, while unspecified, happened after February but they decided against suspending him immediately because of hosting problems. Apparantly, his behavior over March - April , including flagrantly violating code policy, didn’t do him any favors either. SOdamnGOOD , Sean Day is not saying what the incident involves, most likely pending absolute confirmation, but we’ve all heard the horrible rumors about Randy trams aka Randola, and I hope it doesn’t involve anything along those lines.

                        The only officiall details that have came to light are the fact that randy trams who ripped off nayble.net with checks and money movements of up to $14,000 and its rumored that Apparantly Sean Day aka SOdamnGOOD was allso in the cros fire when he was ripped off by Randy for up to $450
