OpenBSD 3.5 on OpenBrick-E HowTo

Contributed by grey on from the more small x86 devices oh my dept.

Thanks to Adam Getchell for writing: This is a writeup for installing OpenBSD 3.5 onto an OpenBrick-E with a 512MB Compact Flash Card and read-only /, /usr, plus /dev, /var/db, /var/tmp etc stored in memory filesystem and synchronized on bootup or shutdown. The writeup is here: http://insecure.ucdavis.edu/OpenBSD/openbrick.

His http://www.netikus.net/resources_guides.html reference also looks interesting. While we would usually like to stray away from articles that primarily show an installation process, the soekris posting seemed to draw a lot of attention, and here's an alternate small form factor platform that some of our readers may be interested in.
