Contributed by sean on from the dept.

Marco Peereboom writes:

We really could use some Fibre Channel equipment for test and development in the US. If you are interested in donating some of this stuff please contact Theo and me.

We need:
  • FC switches or hubs
  • FC HBA's
  • FC Enclosure (with or without embedded RAID)
  • FC HDD's

As usual check the 'wanted' page for more information.

This is great, as soon as FCAL is supported along with SMP, I can get my SUN Eserver up and running with my A5000's :)

If you want good SMP support for SPARC, you could help test some kernels

      ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/smp/

Destructions ( instructions ) can be found by searching the tech@ archive from Tue Jun 8, 2004 ( subject : Need some kernels tested )

Perhaps you missed the "do not post this out too far and wide" request.

We will post a story on undeadly when we get a thumbs up to open the flood gates. In the meantime, I'm wishing for a delete post function. ;-/
