Seems like just another portal, posting links to articles on other sites. Isn't that what we have deadly.org, DDN and Slashdot for?

but sometimes the "signal to noise ratio" on /. is a little heavy for me. They seem to be a little to linux centric and I get tired of the anti-bsd trolling. I am just glad to see another BSD advocacy site. I will take a look over the next few weeks to see how the site develops...but even it it remains a portal site... It is a BSD portal site! ;-)

/.'s BSD coverage is pitiful, Linux centric to the point that I feel sometimes they mention BSD issues just to rail on them, spotty, and neglected.

As to the new site, hell, why not. I've always found many portal sites as an indication that someone is at least trying to get involved and trying to spread the news about. As long as it stays accurate, the new site may find that it caters to a certain segment of the BSD community. Much like deadly.org does to openbsd issues.

    but that's just me....
